Abstract
Ukrainian crisis, which began as mass anti-government demonstrations, turned into the overall destabilization of the country thanks to the Russian annexation of Crimea and support to the rebels in eastern Ukraine. This is the most serious security challenge in Europe since the end of the Cold War that has dramatically worsened relations between Russia on the one hand and the West on the other hand, and left far-reaching negative consequences for international relations as a whole. The attitudes of key international actors, as well the formulation of appropriate policies towards Ukraine are the most demanding tasks and a test of the capabilities and limitations of a common approach and cooperation of the international community in resolving the security challenges in the post-Soviet space.
